Increased vehicle ownership and associated traffic congestion due to rapid urbanization cause stress to the cities’ traffic system. Road users often face highly immobile traffic on the streets which causes loss of time and money, and increased distress and accidents. For this reason it is necessary to comprehensively analyse mobility and its various aspects. This can help in providing analytical insights and solutions to improve the traffic quality. This research carries out a comprehensive traffic mobility analysis using limited data sources. This will provide insights on conducting such analysis in countries under limited data sources. This study will also help understand if probe vehicles are sufficient to generate stream information. Next, the study focuses on evaluating measures of reliability suitable for mixed traffic conditions and estimating the stream travel time reliability. Travel time reliability is an important traffic performance metric that can indicate the consistency in mobility. The proposed study also aims to develop prediction models that can predict the stream mobility and reliability together.
