Semester Fees

Students/scholars are required to pay their Semester fees as per the category they belong to. Fee structures are different for Indian and foreign nationals.

All students / scholars (including HTTA/HTRA students /scholars) have to pay their semester fees directly online as per PDF fee structure applicable to the category to which they belong.

Dual degree students (2015 & earlier Batch) have to pay their M.Tech fees from 9th semester onwards. Students / scholars are permitted to pay the Institute fees in installments; ensuring that the full fees are paid on or before deadline.

To payment Hostel fees - visit http://ccw.iitm.ac.in (or) https://dost.iitm.ac.in 

Day Scholars must pay Gymkhana Fees, Establishment ‘A’ Charges & Medical Insurance in Hostel Payment portal mentioned above.

Procedure for Payment of Semester Fees

Visit the Academic Fee Payment Portal to pay the Institute fees using any bank Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking.

1. Enter the roll number & Date of Birth, and verify the Name displayed on screen.
2. Please check the ‘Fee structure’ PDF fee table and enter the appropriate amount for Tuition fees and Other fees applicable to the category to which you belong
3. You will see a message on screen confirming successful payment. You can also confirm the payment, if you are on campus through https://workflow.iitm.ac.in/student/ , by following the 'PaymentHistory' link.

Note: If the transaction fails and money is deducted from your account, then please wait 3 to 5 working days for money to be credited back to your account. If the money is not credited automatically, then contact accounts section at accounts@iitm.ac.in with your Roll number, Name and Transaction ID.

Hostel Fees for Hostellers & Day Scholars

In addition all students / scholars staying in the Hostel have to pay following hostel fees to the Hostel Management Account through the website www.ccw.iitm.ac.in (or) www.dost.iitm.ac.in using any bank Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking.

The details of the fees to be paid are given below. 

B.Tech, Dual Degree and M.A Students

* Advance dinning charges include Saarang / T-shirt of Shaastra / Food Wastage Disposal / L-tap / Hostel Night and Extras card balance transfer.

M.Tech, M.Sc, M.B.A, students and M.S & Ph.D Scholars including Foreign Nationals
