The Office of Alumni and Corporate Relations (ACR) serves as the primary interface between the Institute and alumni - authorising alumni access to facilities in the campus and administering the Distinguished Alumnus Award program. It serves the alumni community by supporting networking activities, working with the IIT Madras Alumni Associations and supporting Pan-IIT activities.
ACR office strategises and coordinates the Institute-related fundraising activities among the alumni. The office also serves the student community by facilitating mentorships with alumni and administering scholarships, awards and funds for student travel, projects, etc.
The ACR office also promotes research & consultancy relationships between faculty & alumni and interactions between visiting faculty and local alumni.
