PAST EVENT

Details

Compressive residual stress (CRS) generated during shot peening was observed to relax due to service loads and depends on the amount of strain hardening due to shot peening. A dislocation density based crystal plasticity model is developed and used to simulate the accurate production and relaxation of CRS due to various cyclic mechanical loads.
