In this talk, Prof P A Aswatha Narayana will be covering his personal and professional journey as a teacher, researcher at IIT Madras. This talk will present anecdotes and experiences in his teaching and research spanning more than half a century in various educational institutions in India, Holland, Germany, Malaysia and USA.

The talk will be followed by a small discussion to shape some advice to budding faculty members as well as research scholars.
