In the past two decades, there has been a lot of interest about the interplay of concepts from quantum information in holography. This was mostly due to the work of Cardy and Calabrese where they worked out the entanglement entropy for 2d CFTs using the replica trick and the Ryu-Takayanagi proposal that gave a geometric way of calculating the entanglement entropy in the dual description. Since then there have been various refined proposals for the computation of entropy. Apart from the von Neumann entropy, there are other measures of entanglement such as entanglement negativity and reflected entropy, that have been studied in the context of holography. The refined proposals of entropy calculation such as quantum extremal surfaces produce corrections to the Ryu-Takayanagi surface because of contributions from the entanglement entropy of fields in the AdS bulk. Our objective is to identify potential models that could be of interest where these calculations can be performed. One such model with non trivial bulk field content is the Kondo model, a model of great interest in condensed matter physics, for which a holographic dual is now available. While studies involving RT calculations for this model are available, we aim to see if we can study it by incorporating the quantum corrections from the bulk. The larger theme of the proposal would be studying general aspects of bulk contributions to entropy calculations in dimensions d>2.
