The talk will be in two parts. In the first part, I will discuss the progress in understanding non-perturbative aspects of supersymmetric field theories especially holography (Maldacena, 1997) using lattice methods (Wilson, 1974) at large N and strong couplings. I will explain how lattice can also be a tool for understanding dynamical supersymmetry breaking and studying theories like supersymmetric QCD. In the second part, I will explain some recent (circa 2007) computational advances using tensor networks and explain how it has now become the state-of-the-art method for many classic old problems in Physics
