IIT Madras offers B.Techs/Dual Degrees in twelve disciplines. The following are the undergraduate programmes:
B.Tech (Duration – 4 Years)
The coveted Bachelors of Technology program awards students an undergraduate degree in an engineering discipline after four years of study. Entrance to the B.Tech programme is through the Joint Engineering Entrance (JEE) (Mains) and JEE (Advanced); conducted at various centres across the country. Admission to the particular branch of study is decided by the Joint Admission Committee.
Dual Degree (B.Tech & M.Tech) (Duration – 5 Years)
Dual Degree programs offered in select engineering and sciences disciplines earns a student an undergraduate and a master’s degree after five years of study. Entrance to the programme is through the Joint Engineering Entrance (JEE) (Mains) and JEE (Advanced); conducted at various centres across the country.
Dual Degree (BS & MS)
IIT Madras offers BS & MS Dual Degree programmes in Biological Sciences and Physics.
