Mineral oil is used in transformers as insulant and now the world-over researchers are trying to understand the use of ester fluids. With the advent of nano technology, the use of nano filler in ester fluid shows a popular sign, to use as insulant in transformers. In this talk, the flow electrification phenomena and rheological aspects of ester nano fluid will be detailed.
