Beyond 5G, communication systems are expected to satisfy substantially improved performance. Especially 6G is expected to deal with more stringent energy efficiency, latency and rate targets. We proposed a pair of index modulations schemes in the first seminar. In this seminar, we explore the position based transmit beamforming techniques for use with next-generation communication applications. Especially in high-mobility applications such as airplane aided communication, communication with the users in high-speed trains and airplanes, frequent update of CSI-aided transmitted precoding will increase the CSI and latency overhead. However, it is more convenient to update the user locations in many such applications. Hence, we utilize the position based transmit beamforming technique to improve the spectral efficiency in Space-Air-Ground integrated network (SAGIN). We derived an approximate expression for the proposed scheme's area spectral efficiency and validated it with the simulation results. Furthermore, we proposed a cooperative 3D beamforming technique relying on position-based transmit beamforming. This scheme can beneficially focus the transmit signal in 3D space so that the spectral resources can be efficiently reused in 3D volume without excessive interference. We derive an approximate expression for the volume spectral efficiency and compare it with simulation studies.
