About the Department

The Department of Biotechnology is housed in two adjacent multi-storied buildings, one being the Bhupat and Jyoti Mehta School of Biosciences. The department, though relatively young but has seen rapid growth in the past 10 years.

The perfect blend of engineers and hardcore scientists contributes to the highly interdisciplinary and heterogeneous culture of the department. Students of this department have been successful in getting foreign internships which helps them to explore distinct fields in Biotechnology.
