How to reach IITM

Directions from Chennai Central Station

Hire an auto/taxi to IIT Madras or catch 18B, 221H, 19S and 5C which are direct buses to Gandhi Mandapam/IIT Madras/CLRI.
Or just take any bus to Adyar (1LSS, 4LSS, 6LSS, and 6A) and from the Adyar signal you can get to IIT easily by bus.
From the main gate there are buses to the venue every 20 mins.

Directions from Egmore Station

Hire an auto/taxi to IIT Madras or catch 23C which is a direct bus to IIT Madras.
Or take any one of 23E, 23A or 23G to Adyar from where there are number of buses to IIT Madras.
From the main gate there are buses to the venue every 20 mins

Directions from Airport

Hire an auto/taxi to IIT Madras
or catch the bus PP21 to IIT Madras or 21G to Gandhi Mandapam.
