Team Anveshak, a competition team from the Centre for Innovation (CFI), on its rover ‘CAESAR has been placed in the 12th position overall in the University Rover Challenge-2019 conducted by The Mars Society and held at the Mars Desert Research Station (MDRS), Utah during May 30-June 1, 2019.  The team secured 7th position in the System Acceptance Review and 8th position both in the Equipment  Servicing  and the Extreme Retrieval and Delivery Tasks.

‘CAESAR’ had competed with 33 other rovers (from ten countries) that had been shortlisted after a rigorous two-stage down-selection process from among 96 registered teams.
