The research proposal of Dr. Upendra Kumar Maurya  and his scholar J H Jyotsna (MS16S008), Department of Management Studies entitled ‘The Role of Authenticity in Marketing Kerala Village Tourism has been chosen as the 2nd Runner-Up at the ‘Research Grant Proposal Competition’ conducted by North American Society for Marketing Education in India (NASMEI) held at Chennai during December 22-23, 2017.  The proposal has  received a research grant of Rs.25,000/-.

It is also worth mentioning that another research proposal of Dr. Maurya co-authored with his scholar Ashwin J. Baliga entitled ‘The Need for Continuous Improvement in Supplier Performance: The Mediating Effect of Commitment Constructs’ has been chosen as one among the five best research proposals at the same competition.
