The following doctoral scholars of the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering have won various prizes at the International Conference on Advanced Materials and Processes for Defence Applications (ADMAT 2019) held in Hyderabad during September 23-25, 2019:

  • Nitheesh M. Nair (MM16D300) has won the First Prize in the 'Innovation Pavilion Contest' for his work "Flexible and Transparent Printed Silver Nanowire-Based Heaters".  He is guided by Dr.Parasuraman Swaminathan and Dr. Debdutta Ray.  
  • Revathi Gorle (MM16D410) has won the Best Oral Presentation Prize for her presentation entitled "Densification of B4C Composite through Reactive Spark Plasma Sintering using Mechanically Activated Ti-B Reactive Mixture as a Sintering Aid".  She is guided by Dr. Srinivasa Rao Bakshi.
