The team consisting of Jobin Jacob Kavalam (EE09B050) and V. Sudarshan (EE08D049), Dual Degree students of the Department of Electrical Engineering has won the First Prize for its “IITiMer : A Parallel Variation-Aware Timing Analyzer” in the Timing Contest held by TAU Workshop, Ridge Tahoe Resort, NV, USA during March 27-29, 2013. 

The first prize gets a cash award and a plaque.  The contest tested multiple facets of variability aware timing analysis including accuracy, execution time and memory usage.  Our team came first from out of 8 teams that sent entries from all over the world (including 2 from India).

Dr. Shankar Balachandran, Department of Computer Science and Engineering and Dr. Nitin Chandrachoodan, Department of Electrical Engineering were their faculty mentors.
