The following research scholars of the Department of Biotechnology have won various awards at the International NextGen Genomics, Biology, Bioinformatics and Technologies (NGBT) Conference held at Kerala during October 3-5, 2016:
K. Anbarasu (BT11D024) has won the Full Scholarship (including registration, accommodation and travel) to attend the conference for his poster entitled ‘Ras Effector, RASSF7 Modulates MYC Mediated Tumorigenesis’.
Rehna Krishnan (BT12D042) has won the Best Poster Award from Nature Publications (inclusive of one year free Nature subscription and cash award of USD100) for her poster entitled ‘GNL1 interaction with RPS20 is critical to regulate Cell Proliferation’
Dr.Lakshmi Revathi Perumalsamy, Wellcome Trust DBT India Alliance Early Career Fellow has won the Best Poster Award from Science (AAAS) Publications (inclusive of one year free Science subscription and cash award of USD100) for her poster entitled ‘Ras Association (RalGDS/AF-6) Domain Family Member 7 Impinges on Notch1 Signaling to Regulate Cell Migration and Adhesion’.
