Vaibhav Pratap Singh (EE11S070), MS Research Scholar, Department of Electrical Engineering has been named a winner of the Bayer Young Environmental Envoy 2013  (BYEE 2013) Competition  for his  project that aims to build a Soil CO2 Sensor -a low power, low cost device to study soil CO2 variation with seasons, temperature conditions and geographical locations.  He is one of the two winners from India to join 48 winners from 18 other countries to be sponsored by Bayer for a week-long field trip to Germany during November 2013 to learn about trends and perspectives in the field of environmental protection and sustainability.  He has been guided by Prof. Anil Prabhakar, Department of Electrical Engineering.
