The following doctoral scholars of the Department of Civil Engineering have won 'Paper/Poster/Research Grant Awards':
- P. M. Anilkumar (CE18D755) has been awarded the DAAD Research Grant on Bi-nationally Supervised Doctoral Degrees for 2019-20 to work in the Institute of Structural Analysis, Leibniz Universität Hannover, Germany for a period of one year on the research theme 'Morphing Structures' under Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Raimund Rolfes. He is guided by Prof. B. N. Rao.
- Sripriya Rengaraju (CE14D024) has won the 'Best Poster Award' for her poster entitled 'Estimation of Chloride Threshold and Service Life of Structures with Highly Resistive Binders' in the ACI 123 Concrete Research Poster Session at the Spring Convention of the American Concrete Institute (ACI) held during March 24-28, 2019 at Quebec, Canada. She is guided by Dr.Radhakrishna G. Pillai.
- · Surabhi Jain (CE14D062) has won the 'Best Paper Award' for her paper entitled 'Evaluation of Microbes Suitability for Biomodification of Geomaterial using Microbially Induced Calcium Carbonate Precipitation Process' at the 4th World Congress of Civil, Structural and Environment Engineering (CSEE'19) held at Rome, Italy, during April 7-9, 2019. She is guided by Dr.Dali Naidu Arnepalli.
