Petroleum Engineering and Exploration Geophysics: IITM signs MoU with IPG Paris, France
The Present MoU provides the provision of M. Tech. Petroleum Engineering students of IITM to visit IPGP to pursue an International Masters degree of Research in Exploration Geophysics at the end of their 1st year of stay at IITM http://www.cce.iitm.ac.in/mou/PDF/Foreign-univ/France/IPGP,%20France.pdf

Brief Points
1. The eligible students of the program "International Master of Research Programme in Exploration Geophysics" at IPG Paris, France are those who have successfully completed 1st year of the M. Tech program in Petroleum Engineering at IITM.
2. IITM will send 2-4 eligible students to IPGP every year with due ratification from IPGP.
3. Students enrolled in this program would normally be required to do, sequentially, (a) 2 semesters of course work at IITM for Petroleum Engineering M. Tech., (b) 10 months (Sept to June) program at IPGP towards Master of Research degree in Exploration Geophysics at IPGP, (c) 2 semesters of course/project work at IITM to complete the M. Tech. degree in Petroleum Engineering. The contents of the courses in the IPGP program in Master of Research in Exploration Geophysics are given in MoU Enclosed (Click here)
4. The IITM students participating in the program at IPGP will be provided travel,health insurance and fellowship by IPGP during their stay in Paris.
