The section is equipped with sophisticated glass and quartz blowing equipments such as horizontal, cum vertical lathe, universal lathe, grinding machine and glass strain deduction apparatus.

The unit can undertake jobs to construct high vacuum glass apparatus and other related glass blowing works.On a regular basis the unit is making high vacuum stop-cocks, interchangeable ground glass joints, cryogenic and and high vacuum glass systems and other types of complicated glass and quartz apparatus.
