The Computer Centre of the Indian Institute of Technology Madras was established in the year 1973 with the objective of providing computational environment for the academic and research community of the Institute. The Centre also caters to the computational needs of different projects from various Government organizations, Research establishments and Industries in India. The Centre offers training and software development apart from being a support service for the faculty, students and staff.
