The Indian Institute of Technology Madras' website was launched in the year 1999 under the guidance and supervision of Prof. R. Kalyana Krishnan of the Dept. of Computer Science and Engineering. He was assisted by a group of six undergraduate students. Later, a fresh group of undergraduates joined the project each year to maintain and constantly improve the web pages. The Institute is pleased to acknowledge the contributions of the following students.

Keeping in view the changing user needs and developments taking place on the Internet, the IITM website was re-designed and launched in March 2004. The new website was designed by students and project staff. The Institute is pleased to acknowledge the contributions made by the following students.
